Bismillah.
So…one day this past week a co-worker of mine was asked by our supervisor what was his biggest fear. And of course me being me, I decided to interject lol. Not in a rude way but in an inquisitive way. Mainly because this a question that usually invoke deep thought both in the facilitator and the subject. And it somehow leads to speaking on religion or spirituality. So once he gave his answer, which was wooder I asked why he feared it. His response was “I can’t see what’s down there!’ He went to ask what mine was and before I could answer he said “let me guess…God.” Which threw me off because that definitely wasn’t the answer I was going to give lol. I actually was going to say “I don’t have a FEAR of anything but I am AFRAID of snakes.” The reason I placed emphasis on each word is because for me to fear something I’m always going to have the impulse to do away with it. Whereas if I’m afraid of something my respect for whatever it is, keeps me far enough away from it to learn it from afar. So as the conversation progressed, I wound up bringing it back to the “let me guess…God.” comment. I started off by saying, “I don’t fear God, I respect God as I respect myself!” If you know me, you know I’m quick to exclaim “I am God.” Not in a cocky sense but more so giving reverence to the creator! Every part of my being is He/She. Now whatever you refer to God as (Allah, God, Yehweh, The All…etc.) you have to understand that all these beings are of the same concept. And are merely given these names to quantify the energy that we all posses.
Now, I’ve thought on this subject for the last few days simply because it made me look into some of our leaders of the past. And I realized that they ALL at some point in their lives, whether it be consciously or subconsciously, had each achieved a God/Goddess level of understanding. They had the understanding that although they were Black, they were Human first! So in term it allowed them to always have a “big picture” mindset. Because I’m sure I’m not the only one, that at times gets so caught up in what’s directly in front of you, that you lose sight of what’s beyond that. Now, with the prominence of social media our attention spans have all but disappeared lol. Which in times like this is not what’s needed. I’ve noticed that timeline has gone from “Fight The Power” to business a usual in a matter of a few days. Don’t get me wrong I’ve added to said transition. But I will say that’ve noticed a shift in our collective consciousness versus just a handful of people being fully aware. Which I believe is what was missing in the past. You had a handful of people that in a sense had it all figured out, while the rest were still kind of trying find their place in what was going on. And the enemy that, they also knew that once they began to kill, arrest and use other methods to silence the leaders they could then have everyone else at their whim.
Fast forward to today and to the flip side of the prominence of social media. You now have the world’s eye on EVERYTHING that’s happening in the United States of AmeriKKKa, and they’re finally holding them accountable. Now as a Black Man that considers himself rather aware, I’ve in a sense changed gears from looking at things from a racial standpoint but to seeing them from a human rights aspect. The horrid mistreatment of people of African descent in this country is beyond description in my opinion. I’m sure every word that the dictionary has to offer to give an explanation of what’s going on has been exhausted! It makes you think of, how sick of a human being you have to be in order to literally hate someone because of how the hue of their skin. You have to be conditioned to have such a mindset. One thing people have to understand is, generations of hate won’t be undone over night! They also have to take the time digest the fact that, we’re fighting a spiritual war! They don’t hate your skin color, they hate the spirit that’s housed within it. It isn’t your skin that gives you the celestial advantage, which then makes you the only perfect being on the planet. You are literally everything that God/Goddess represents and your enemy knows it. To look at you is to look God in the face! They’ve studied you for so long, that they show you you and you don’t even see it sometimes. They’ve literally thrown everything they could at you, and IT HASN’T WORKED!
God is Me.
God is You.
God is Us.
God is Love.
